The blogger formerly known as…

I have come to realize that there is a certain disconnect when writing a blog anonymously.

On occasion, either via comments left, or the occasional email, I’ve noticed that opening salutations are awkward without a proper name.

It’s the difference of being able to go up to an acquaintance and say “Hi George”, vs. “Hi, er, ah, Guy…”

I have to admit that I do prefer the idea of maintaining this blog without my name attached, because it really is not about me. It’s about my journey of learning about this craft I’ve come to love. At the same time, I don’t want to be misunderstood as someone hiding from reality, or  accountability.

Therefore, I feel that it is time to raise the veil as it were, and poke my head out for all to see.

From here on in, please feel free to call me ” “.

Hey, it worked for Prince didn’t it?

Well maybe not…
